What we are
Our organization work started way before its legal identity as NGO. Our work started with clinic ,Sanwad speech and hearing clinic in 1993. Though it’s a clinic and not an NGO but purpose was to provide world class services in tier 2 tier, 3 cities and villages connected to these cities. In late 90’s , since technology was so advance and friendly in city like Kolhapur , awareness about occurrence of such speech and hearing disability was very poor. At early days , our organization used to arrange street plays , songs and awareness camps (go to gallery) We used to provide speech and hearing services to needy patient at affordable charges. We as clinic invested in bringing highest technology at grass root level so that many people can afford it. We have helped many non-affording patients to generate donation from generous donors.
Now, in order to reach to mass and grow at an exponential rate as an NGO ,we have formed SANWAD SPEECH HEARING CLINIC AND RESEARCH FOUNDATION IN 2020.
The vision of this organization to generate funds from government and through association in order to reach to grass root level- provide excellent service and open new dimension in the field of speech and hearing .
Our Director Pu. Shilpa Huzurbazar , who is founder of Sanwad speech and hearing clinic, has vast experience of over 30 years in treating patients , creating awareness in society , bringing new technology at local level. She is well known person in the field of speech and hearing clinic. Under her guidance , Sanwad foundation has now taken new role in expanding service to larger demographics with better service and technology.

Director’s message

Sanwad foundation is the legal presence and authenticity to our work but our work was always towards betterment of society and what we call patient oriented since beginning. Our vision was very clear think globally and act locally. With this vision , our new face sanwad foundation has opened new possibility for us to work in the field of speech and hearing disability. There is tremendous work in this field. With this new face , we want to be the every household name in the field of hearing and disability. We want to become internationally know for our service delivery ,quality of service , innovation as per socirty requirement. This face will help us to generate funds from CSR ,government which will be instrumental in setting up world class clinics , funding non affording patients, bringing newer technology ,reaching grass root and research.
I was always passionate about research and I am working towards making my organization internationally recognized in developing new testing methods , instruments and various aspect. We would like to work o =n fundamental research which has direct benefit to society.
We at sanwad foundation are always ready for new ventures and associations which expands our scope of work and as an individual increases knowledge .

With such backing of 30 years of experience of Pu. Shilpa Huzurbazar , I believe that technology ,newer approach and experience are the perfect combination for any organization to grow. With the vision of think globally act locally , bringing world class technology at local level , making it affordable, use of digital media , consumer behavior ,data analysis will bring deeper insights in making this mission come true. Making use of technology to overcome past challenges is what I look forward for. In today,s world ,technology is the barrier free environment. Meaning what is most common among society, is technology. It is most effective tool to create impact on society. My role in this organization as director is to understand new challenges and find out solutions. This challenges might be related our trisutra. I believe that association is great approach in order to bring change in society.
