Our work

Projects changing real lives, one family at a time.

From cochlear implants and free camps, to livelihoods and awareness — here are the initiatives we have nurtured over the past year.

Project Kalpak
Livelihoods · Recycling

Project Kalpak

Started with a vision to solve two issues — recycling of paper & plastic waste, and generating employment for hearing-impaired women with extraordinary talent in art. Today, two women are in full-time employment, and educational waste is being converted into cost-effective teaching aids for special children.

Project Shravan Mitra
Cochlear implants · Therapy

Project Shravan Mitra

Five cochlear-implant surgeries were performed this year under the RBSK scheme. Funds were also raised to support therapy fees and accessories — ensuring care continues long after the surgery.

Matrimony · Inclusion

Project Special Sathi

A dedicated matrimony platform built to solve the matchmaking gap for divyangjan — created with dignity and safety in mind.

Recognition

Project Runvandana

A lifetime achievement award was presented to Smt. Mangala Abhyankar for her decades of contribution to the field of hearing disability — mentoring children through education, employment and marriage.

Awareness · Training

Project Dyanprabha

Our ongoing awareness work. Lectures were delivered to special-educators and pre-primary teachers at Blossom Playschool; parent-training programmes were conducted for children with autism, alongside expert talks on Hasya Yoga and dental health in special children.

Fundraising · Hearing-aids

Sanwad Piggy Bank

A child born to hearing-impaired parents needed a hearing aid. Fundraising through Inner Wheel Club Kolhapur (₹10,000) and additional support from Sanwad Clinic made it possible. Many NGOs and individual donors continue to walk this journey with us.

Free Hearing-Testing Camp

A free camp was arranged in February — open to all and especially for under-served families.
